NOMAD is an opportunity for young people to change the world one town or city @ a time.

NOMAD puts young people out on the front lines & allows space for God to mould our lives along the way.  NOMAD
is an urban style sports team made up of Young, talented, skill-full & sporty people who have a passion for connecting with young people in schools & on the streets. Part of the NOMAD team travels to different locations in the UK with the Panna-Football Cage to work with local youth organisations. That usually means work in schools or out on the streets doing detached youth work or @ youth clubs.

In schools NOMAD are usually invited to lead PE lessons using the Cage; also RE lessons where the team are transferred into classroom setting to provide lessons on varying topics, from a Christian perspective; NOMAD also get invited to lead assemblies for all year groups & to give a short encouraging message to the young people.

On the Streets & @ Youth Clubs the Cage is a huge hit & NOMAD get to see 1000s of young people every year show off their skills & tricks inside this 3m tall circle area of 50m2(approx)(The Cage).

Around the Cage young people have the opportunity to chat with NOMAD team members & other youth workers about anything they like.

The other side to NOMAD is the local base youth work that has begun & will continue in Crawley, West Sussex. NOMAD have been networking & establishing themselves in Crawley since 2007, the next step for NOMAD in Crawley is a permanent one, with countless opportunities for young people to experience the NOMAD gap year in a deifferent way.

If you have one or more years experience working with young people, why not consider doing NOMAD with our further training option: The Academy.
